About Valerie

My name is Valerie and I’m a junior. I live in James Creek off campus, and I’m blogging in order to document my experience here at OSU. I’m originally from Plano, Texas and I graduated from Plano West Senior High School. I’m planning on double majoring in French and Public Relations. I have four older sisters, three nieces, three nephews, and two dogs. I love to read, draw, listen to music, play word games like Text Twist and Bananagrams, and cook. I work at the Curriculum Materials Library (CML) in the Willard basement. In high school, I worked at Einstein Bagel Bros. for about three months and then Baskin Robbins for a little over a year. I still like ice cream, but I hate bagels. I also hate cheesecake, most vegetables, and that orange frosting on cinnamon rolls. I love Italian food, coffee cake, Andes Mints, and bacon. I’ve been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend, Andrew, for a little over two years. My favorite color is yellow, I love polar bears, and I’m a beast at hula hooping. I pregame Shark Week, I love football, and I don’t know how to do a cartwheel. That’s about it!
