Hello! HOLA! Ahoj! !سلام I am Davod Nematpour, and I am currently a junior here at Oklahoma State University, and live in Wentz. I am from Prague, Oklahoma, where I live with my mom, dad and sister. I love to read school unrelated books while dabbling in law books. I currently live in Wentz Hall and am majoring in Broadcast Journalism focusing on the production side and, if I like one class, a minor in Public Relations. I like music with a beat that I can dance to and have to have it playing when I am driving.
Through my years here at OSU, I have lived in Kerr and Wentz and have visited friends in different residential halls such as the Villages and North Monroe. I am blogging about my past, present, and future experiences in the Residential Halls on the campus of OSU. Whether its dealing with home-sickness, drama, how to balance school and your social life, or just adjusting from having your own room to sharing one with one person and a bathroom with over 50 students. In my experience with living and talking about people about living on campus, I find that many choose to live off campus because they do not see the substantial benefits of living on campus or do not see the opportunities you have sharing a floor with more than 50 people. I hope, through this blog, that you can get a snippet of how “dorm” life can be beneficial now while in college, but also can build long lasting relationships that can extend after the college life is over.
